For the 6th consecutive year, BJ’s, along with its Vendor Partners like P&G, is collaborating to raise money for cancer research and treatment centers throughout the eastern United States. For the past 6 years, BJ’s Charitable Foundation® has donated over $1.8 million.
Specified BJ's locations will host "Pink Picnics" to kick off Breast Cancer Awareness month. The in-Club events feature breast cancer experts and inspirational speakers from one of the benefiting hospitals. BJ’s "Pink Picnics" are free and open to the public. They are a celebration of survival and they feature breast cancer experts and inspirational speakers, a complimentary luncheon and special gifts for attendees. BJ’s will also unveil the “Pink Ribbon” Club merchandise they will sell throughout the month of October, including a variety of P&G brands. A portion of the money BJ’s members spend on these “Pink Ribbon” Club products is donated to the BJ’s Charitable Foundation®, which then is distributed to 13 different National Cancer Institute® designated cancer centers.
